HOW LONG WILL THE COATING LAST?
The coil coating forms a covalent bond with the metal surfaces and is expected to last the life of the unit.
WILL COATING MY UNIT AFFECT MY FACTORY WARRANTY?
Coating the unit will not affect the factory warranty. Many of the factories contract with us directly to provide coating services on brand-new units for their customers. We have some letters from the manufacturers stating that we do not void their warranty.
WILL THE COATING AFFECT THE EFFICIENCY OR HEAT TRANSFER OF MY UNIT?
No, we use CoilSafe coating, which is only 8 to 10 microns thick and will not reduce the unit's efficiency and will perform better over time versus a non-coated unit.
HOW MUCH DOES THE COATING COST?
Depending on whether the project is a shop or field coating project, the coating will cost approximately 1/10th to 1/8th of the cost of replacing the unit.
